Thanks for the pics. First of all I made up an adapter and decided to try it with my wilems plcc32 adaptor and a 29c010 I picked up today. Looked like this but i never found out if the pcm could read it as i had trouble flashing it with the old p166 laptop. 29c010_memcal.jpg So then I just burnt BST...

Yeah thats a good idea. I was thinking nvram but thats a lot harder to get and more expensive. Might see if I can pick up an eeprom today. That ancient 27c010 is a bit of an unknown anyway

As my ecu came with no memcal, im trying to fit a random 27c010 chip in the socket. Heres the pics of what Im trying to do. Pretty nice conversion. I have had a couple of VLs over the years, good cars... Even better running on delco! I never bothered touching the ECCS stuff in mine.
