After all the trials of trying to get a clean signal to the DFI module and then getting a clean signal and having it break up after a few minutes :( I finally got hold of a new DFI...

Re: Twin Cam GT Bellett

Cheers Antus I can't wait to get my hands on the new ignition module and finally take this car for a real drive :driving: While I am waiting I have started fabricating a new fuel rail as the old one was pretty ordinary cb748d2c.jpg While I was at Pinch a Part the other week they had injectors on sal...

Re: Twin Cam GT Bellett

Hi guys I have made a few more changes to the set up on the GT. I have made an alloy bracket for the coil packs and module to be mounted to. I spoke to the guy at Jaycar and showed him the bracket and module I was trying to keep cool and he sold me the correct heat sink paste for the job and he said...

Re: Twin Cam GT Bellett

VNSS I think you may be onto some thing. On Sunday I am picking up another bottom pulley and I may look at placing a trigger wheel behind it and then get it rebalanced so that it has more of an area pick up the signal (that made sense in my head). I have not much of a chance to play with the car due...

Re: Twin Cam GT Bellett

Cheers for the heads up on the altenator being a bit sus. I have a fairly long "To Do" list on this car and the altenator was definitely on there as the mount has a lot of flex in it and the bearings are rattling there heads off. I have another altenator in the shed so I might have to get ...

Re: Twin Cam GT Bellett

Cheers for that Jayme, I will try to get hold of one tomorrow.

How deep should my notches be?? I am going to pull every thing out again so I may as well make all of the notches uniform.

Re: Twin Cam GT Bellett

On a side note while walking around Pinch a Part yesterday I managed to pick up fuel rail and 4 injectors from a JE Camira which I might try to adapt on to my manifold to make it a bit neater 20080d17.jpg d85c53b8.jpg Another thing that I noticed while looking for ABS sensors was that all of the Ope...
