How did you do the labels on the plastic box?
I am an electrical technician in an open cut mine.
We have a Roland EGX-350 desktop engraver, for doing our labels at work.
It also is used to engrave single sided circuit boards.
Turned out OK I thought.

Found this online from the UK, from a mob who has a kit to install Subaru engines into VW Beetles. Speed Pulser Converter.JPG VSS co...

DELCOing a Meyers Manx Buggy (VW 1800)

Here's a friend's buggy which I helped convert to DELCO injection. It had a single downdraft carby before. I kept telling him he should fuel inject it. His daughter had an old Nissan Pulsar she didn't want anymore. I suggested to him that he had most of the parts he needed to convert to EFI right th...

$54, where are you ? (XDF)

Hi, a mate of mine has installed a Delco system off a Nissan Pulsar onto a VW 1600 motor in a Meyers Manx buggy. Yes, it's cool. The Pulsar/ Astra/ Camira Dizzy fits with the outside body just needing turning down on a lathe. The "Coupling" is the same as VW. Aftermarket VSS with an adapte...

Re: Silicon Chip Magazine Sept 09 Wideband

Yep ( I revised the prices, as I was going off memory at the time). The article lists Techedge as a source for the sensor and connectors, as well as Bosch & Audi/VW part numbers. Techedge have a nice ad for their 2Y1 halfway through the article. As a comparison, the 2y1 DIY kit is $99 + GST, and...

Re: Silicon Chip Magazine Sept 09 Wideband

Part 2 is in the OCTOBER '09 Silicon Chip Magazine out now. The kit, which is the board and case only, is $79.95 from Jaycar. Part 3 will be in the NOVEMBER '09 Mag. This covers the separate display module, which is ~$59.95 from Jaycar. So, it's probably the cheapest way to get into wideband. The Te...

Re: Race Motor #1

You've probably seen it before, but here's a good site for the old Holden six :-

Unverified info of course. Still, offseting the head and valves to unshroud the valves in the chamber makes a whole lot of sense ( with larger intake valves ).
