agree biggest concern will be that the rod can be closed and honed
When I rebuilt my engine I had 2 rods that would not come good after 2 atemps
are the rods in the L67 different to the N/A ecotech?

yeah agree, did not see it when I had a quick look first time
check the bearings not worth the risk fitting it without doing so

man that thing looks like new

since you are going to use your new box, I would go the VS sump
if you want the extra capacity just get an external oil filter like the one I have, will give you close to a litre in extra capacity as well as having a bigger filter

yeah sump is the same from everything I have read, yes on the later models the sump was different to suit the one piece bell housing
only rods/pistons/cam are different on the bottom end
crank/block/sump the same

What mods have you done to the engine and what ECU are you running

I know a few people that have had the same thing happen with the Nolathane bushes, they just crumbled
I have been using the Whiteline ones(look like they are make from cola - semitransparent) for a few years now and they still look like new

looking forward to hearing how this goes, going to hold off ordering my LS6 MAF till you give the card MAF a run in a car

damn that thing is so smooth and has such a low idle
if only you could get the ECU smaller, would make an awesome RC car engine
