Re: XR6T into VY SS Shell.. AKA Frankenstein's Monster
sicne you have to convert anyways, it will likely be easier to stay far away from PIM and just write an ALDL >> Ford pcm conversion. there is a dash packet that is documented somewhere that you can spoof by using your PI to query the ford pcm for engine light/coolant temp etc, then store them as loc...

Re: Delco OSE FlashTool V1.51
sounds like interference.... since its getting some data but rejecting others. try turning off your stereo, AC blower, headlights and everything else you can find to turn off, leave the laptop power cable unplugged so its just on battery, then leave engine on reds not running and try again.

Re: VZ engine swap not running
Didnt realise you had flashed it with an 07 Tune... it all makes sense now.
hope it works ok when you dump the 07 cam plates on it.
otherwise maybe get your mate to flash it back to an 05 tune, link BCM PCM PIM again and give that a go?

Re: VZ engine swap not running
I personally think the cam sensors are a red herring... look at the real actual differences between your car and one that works.. you said the engine and harness and PCM combo was running... 2005 model. the only difference is you stuck it in a 2007 model body. by 2007 Holden was selling VE's in the ...

Re: Carby ecotec
jsut remember by using carby you will probably lose the TPS as well which sorta stuffs the idea of using the default RPM vs TPS table for tuning spark. seriously use an 808, you are going to get shit results otherwise with no MAF and no TPS. you can get 808 loom and ecu for next no nothing and most ...

Re: VZ engine swap not running
compare the holden diagram sensor locations with your diagram. even better ignore yours and use the holden diagram for reference when testing. you have right exhaust and left exhaust backwards. to be clearer.. driver side exh = A20 Driver side intake = A4 pass side exh = A36 Pass side exh = A53 so a...

here is the cam sensor page from the genuine holden manual for both 2005 and 2006. they look the same to me.

Re: VZ alloytec PCM Pinout
lol a mate who runs a dyno told me recently, I asked him just now to double check, he has a bunch of different software and said it might have been one of his other programs not hptuners, either way will check and let me know.
