Re: The VN Great Escape

Is there any way to "cut" section out of a log for future reference so i can log a drive then post relative sections of information only instead of a huge file. One thing I'm still not sure about is the o2 seonsor It is a new sensor but the input doesn't really swing much in closed loop un...

Re: Enabling Narrowband VE learn

Not 100% sure on this but it from what I;ve gathered it disables BLM meaning the ecu will not learn so if lean stay's lean if rich stays rich only in the 14.7 AFR target regions ofcourse.

I'm still learning myself. Curently trying to figure out why my VN/VR engine is knock retarting.

Re: Enabling Narrowband VE learn

for the narrowband VE learn to work you need to be running the NVRAM. Yes it is $12P addon. The flag does exist in standard/factory bins but the code is missing i believe to make it work. All the BLM read a constant valve of 100 when enabled and the VE table value is adjust instead.

Re: The VN Great Escape

Well today I've done a quick data log with the WB in the exhaust tip just out of interested to see how the AFR looked. Sorry this is a large file/log but covers different speeds. From the looks of it it does follw the target fairly well. Will have to do a compare with it in the Narrow band spot.

Re: The VN Great Escape

Yeah I guess i can also disable close loop to test the AFR getting it running closer then go from there. If only it was easy to get the sensor in and out. Anyway I'll keep chipping away hoping to get to the bottom of it soon less then 3 month to it all starts.

Re: The VN Great Escape

Funny you should say fuel pump as i only replaced that 2 weeks ago as it failed so I had just ruled that out. Also just before those logs were taken and VE lear was turned on the O2 sensor and spark plugs was replaced. Only thing is with the wideband the only way i can currently attach it to the car...

Re: The VN Great Escape

Ok Know I'm stumped I've been taking a few logs whiule driving around lately trying to increase fuel economy by 11L/100km. In doing so I'm seeing a Lot of Knock Retart values on what is a Standard engine with nothing more then a K&N air filter as a mod. Just mainly out of interest could the Air ...

Quick question guys about the ACSP Coolant senor option. I'm unsure what is fitted the the current engine but with the engine cold (unstarted for serval hours) the air temperature of 16 degree when looking ath the dash board on TP show a coolant temperature of 2 degree. Had another sensor avaliable ...
