Something doesn't add up there, 12 - 13 deg timing at WOT up to approx 5000 rpm?????
I'd say it would handle a lot more than that.

if you have a bcm, you might be able to plug it to power, and attach it to the same aldl wire between the tech-1 and the car side connector, literally just hanging it off the side.. might be enough since its a 1 wire bus? This will work. I have even done it on an uncoded VT bcm/pcm combination Dave.

Narrow band and wide band, think of the words that are being used. "band" is like saying "range" as far as measuring Air/Fuel ratio goes, and the "narrow" and "wide" is like saying "small" and "large" So you have Small Range and Large Range...
