Re: Antusprom - tunerpro realtime via ALDL

I can't wait to see Antusprom incorporated in the flash tool!
This will complete a great set of software tools.

Re: Delcoing a 3 cyl 2 stroke

A lot of the V8 Supercars in the mid 90's used the Mercury Thunderbolt ignition systems. One of the best CDI units available at the time. The attached file shows how they were used with a Motec (we used Autronic at the time) ECU. I have a photo somewhere of one of our engines on the Dyno with the ig...

Re: Delcoing a 3 cyl 2 stroke

I think I have a spare thunderbolt here that we were running on the last of the Holden engined V8 Supercars.
They were a great ignition!
Will have a dig and see what I can find.

Cheers,
Matt

Re: max injector duty cycle

I too would be looking at ignition. 80% duty is not a problem. Above this level you may start to lean out, but it won't cut out. An overly RICH mixture can cause what you are seeing. What do you have to do the hardware cylinder select on the memcal to make this work?

Have you turned off anti theft in the $12 bin? This could account for the no start.

Re: Injector timing

Injector timing only applies to Sequential ECU's ie. VSV6 onwards.
All of the earlier stuff fires the injectors either simultaneously, or in 2 groups (VrV6).

Re: Shift light

The shift light function works nicely. When configured correctly, it calculates what gear you are in from RPM & VSS, and can trigger at different RPM points for each ratio. This can be useful if you have an odd spread of gear ratio's and a big cam. With the aid of Dyno curves, you can adjust you...
