Re: Enhanced Factory Bins

I have been using the ls1 maf but modified the tables using data from this thread.
https://pcmhacking.net/forums/view ... 9&start=20

Note that using the data it doesn't use all 12 tables so maybe less resolution in mass figures.
Has been working okay for me so far. :)

Re: The1's Daily

The 5/50 and 15/15 seem to have similar results for wear. For the 5/50 oxidation/nitration etc it looks like they have used the wrong comparison definition file to me cause if those figures are correct then the oil would be a sludgy black mess. The tan/tbn is "0" (not reported or tested) f...

Re: The1's Daily

I used to work in used oil analysis for a number of years doing all these tests. I just did the testing not the analysis so please correct me if i'm wrong, but I did learn a few things along the way. From what I remember the wear metals are the first section from lead to titanium. The metals from ma...

Re: Electrical issue VS EcoTech

I've been dealing with the same problem the last couple of weeks. Changed the crank angle sensor, didn't fix it. Then changed the fuel filter and thought it must have been a blocked filter causing the problem as it was fine until a couple of days ago. :wall: Changed the dfi plate tonight after it he...

Re: VT S/C extended spark tables - Beta Tester Wanted

I finally had a chance to look at the test today. Looks fantastic. I had been thinking that the mgc limit must have been 953 since that graph started flatlining there on any logs I have been taking (always thought it was 1000). From the adx you posted I can see you're using the EGR area of the code....

Re: Enhanced Factory Bins

I 2nd SPARX!!!! Nice work indeed THE1! Working on an easier way to tune, strike me interested!!! Only thing I'd suggest is what ever the air reference is in normal spark table XDF make it the same in the extended so exact change over point! Again AWESOME work  I have put together a spreads...

Re: Enhanced Factory Bins

I'll probably give the default extended MAF data a try first then and see if the wideband matches the commanded afr. The MAF is a standard 74mm type from a VX V8.(I thought that was an LS1 MAF also) Anyway learning as I go here, but all fun anyway. Can't wait to get things moving along. :) Yeah had ...
