Another quick question to you seasoned all jap day go'ers. The organisers have sent me the "entrant agreement " form, which is compulsory to make it through the gates. They also state one needs a completed "vehicle information" form. This they did not send me. Can someone tell me if this is compulsory or optional and where one would get an "Information form" if required?

p.s. looked at the pics of last years event. Belletts are in a league of there own, well represented guys! Looking forward to being an addition to the cause.

cheers, B.

Hey man that email should have the info form, but the link to it is buried deep in the email!

Alternatively look at the bottom of the email coz it should say "those links again:" and have them both there (both meaning the agreement form and the info form).

The info form has your entry number on it so they probably need it displayed. My wife said the same thing when I forwarded her the email to print it off in colour... So have another look at it and if the link is buggered (like it was on Ross's) then email the All Jap Day crew asap!

Hopefully on the day my mate will have his 1965 Toyota Lite Stout nearby - but not amongst the Belletts, of course!

Forecast for Sunday
Cool with a few showers. Fresh to strong southwest winds gradually easing.

Precis A few showers.
City: Min 12 Max 17

No bailing people! I know it's been raining solid for two days but tomorrow will clear! I hope!

FINALLY! All Japan Day arrived, but preceding it was 3 days of constant rain, something Adelaide hasn't seen for about 5 months...

Fortunately, the weather held almost the whole day, although this photo was taken just before a hefty little rain squall came through and sent a lot of the punters home at about 3:30. Never mind though; the show was awesome.

We had two sedans, two GTs and my Wasp, which was just great to see!

Craig's Mitsubishi Colt was sold side by side with the Bellett 'back in the day' at places in Adelaide such as Martin Distributors.

... but it was overshadowed for 2009 by this... the Datsun Silvia coupe. I love this car. Only 49 of the Datsun Silvia CSP311 were imported into Australia and all were gold with wheelcovers, just like this one.

Hiya people,

Yep the boys got away and home ok, however they were in a lot worse condition than when they left.

Fortunately my wife was very understanding about us staying up and talking about brochures all night.

Wild.

You guys keep supplying the warm fuzzies! Brother Dennis bought a new 66 1/2 in early '67, traded it a year later on a Mazda 1500, then it on a '69 Datsun 2000 sports. :o I (9 yrs younger) got to ride in 'em all - I still remember those new jap car smells  Thanks for sharing, and flying the Bellett flag!
Matt.

Here they are. More All Jap Day 2009. Presenting the 65th division Bellett squadron  Also the metalic pink R100 is Liz's (my wifes) next car. Not impressed  . The Fairlady also impressive.

B.

Sorry guy's  , squadron should have appeared first, but with my nerd abilities we'll just have to put up with reverse order.

Who hired the photograghers ? great "aireal shot" of the Brow of vehicles. Someone had to scale the tower!! Like all the early Daddoos and Maaazdaas, but the squadron was well represented. Belletts were quite unique. More, more, encore....!
