Gricey I would if I could but it's with much sadness that Donkey and I can't come to Tassie I have commitments in Perth the very same weekend that I cannot renege on. I am gutted to say the least to be missing Steve and Peg's event as I would have traveled ANYWHERE for their nationals meet. Donkey was so looking forward to fangin' around all those beautiful Tasmanian roads too with all his brothers, sisters and cousins.

As much as I would like to Rod, the boat anchor won't travel to Tassie this time of the year! I won't be down in Tassie now until about Feb/March 2016 and stay for about 2 months all going well. If I do get down there then, I will look you up for sure! Now Gricey, you have the National down your way soon, be nice !! LOL. Mudgee is a bloody cold place, I doubt it would be as cool as Albury/Wodonga! I did my Army training down there a couple of years ago! (like 1966 ) . Travel safe all of you, I hope you experience the BEST WEATHER possible!! Dave.

You don't need to bring any boat anchors, the Spirit has plenty. Now surely, its just a week, and one bloke with one car is cheap on said boat. You must be just too good a bloke that she can't stand the separation for just a week?? Couldn't you have made yourself just a little bit annoying so she would be looking for a break?? If I keep pledging beers for missing mates I'm gunna get rotten! Rant rant shame! Breathe Matt...

rod wrote: are some people just chasing best cars ..trophys ....... ....im in it the fun not the glory Yep, I'm a glutton for glory! Not really, funs the go. But I do proudly display my "Encouragement award" from the 2006 Nats, which this car won. It encouraged me alright, to collect a shipload of other Belletts!! Baaaahahahahahahhhh! Cheers, Matt.

Further the better I reckon, Doris did 5700 ks in 2009. More Bellett joy! If you can go 300 you can go 3000. Its the same, but further. And to Tas theres 500 or so you don't have to drive...

Anyone actually know who's going and how many / what cars as well? Just curious as I was asked the other day.
