Has anyone done a SR20DET engine conversion to a Bellett?

Reason, I had my G200W engine sold out from under me even with a deposit so looking at other options.

If someone has done one or is in the process of doing one let me know.

Thanks

Not sure but think the SR20 sump is at the wrong end of the engine making fitting to a Bellett a problem?

I have a G200 DOHC down here i will sell for what it cost me out of Japan if you still want to go that way. No gear box though.

sr20 has a front sump they are alloy and are structural to the block. a ca 18 would be easier. a 4g63t would be a nice fit they convert them to rwd the sump from a great wall it is steel and rear sumped that will fit a 4g63 evo 8 bellett I would not bother with a brake upgrade you wont live long :o   the other option would be a mx5 turbo 6 speed :?:

SR20det are a fairly unreliable engine tbh. 4G63 is a very very good engine.. I love them. If you are on Facebook there is a great group called 4G63 RWD, there are a number of ways to do it and all the people you need to talk to are on there. Or on the forum www.projectzerog.com
