Looks serious is that to stop the tailshaft digging if it falls out making the car go end over ?

yeah i think thats the main reason for it, also if the tailshaft lets go it has the ability to rip the crap out of the floor, so i think theres a bit of driver safety there aswell as to stop a flip over....
either way i don't want to ever have to need it!!

FINALLY rear window goes back in today!!
also finished the parcel tray cover piece and got it all silasticed and riveted in
once i get the window in i want to get some braided oil cooler lines for the tranny then im ready for tech inspection i reckon!

the window went back in this arvo and i removed the scoop off the car and started prepping it for painting .... its got alot of dodgy casting bits on it that need to be filled or smoothed etc so plenty to do there!!!
last thing on my list is to get the oil cooler lines sorted so i'm looking good for a tech inspection next weekend provided the guy can fit me in.

it didn't seem that good when i first cut the sheet and started bashing the bend into it but once it was all riveted in it seemed alot better than first thought!
