i told him around $500 to $700 for someone who is keen. motor looks pretty tired as its quite oil covered. photo doesnt really show it.
not a lot different to my Grey sedan that went for $500 9 months ago. and i dont need another project thanks.
maybe the guy from Riverland likes it enough...

GTtoo wrote: Hey thanks Davo, for pm's. Only saw it now. And thanks for showing OZ. Unfortunately can't grab it myself, no funds for anything !! Also that Roman Red 67 around the corner from me still sitting there. I will go and see him again. If he has dropped the rediculous price ($3,500) i will let all know. It's in a lot better nick and ready to drive, apart from rego to change from Queensland to SA. Cheers, B Bruno there is more value in the roman red car than this car at $500 x4 tyres, battery brakes from sitting around, hoses the lit will go on. If the red car has qld rego it has a road worthy certificate as it was only sold a short while ago. In theory nothing to spend unless you want too dress it up

spoke to Rob again. interest seems to have dropped off? well its not a 65 sedan. guy from riverland was a no show. said i would give him wrecking value if he finds no other takers and he has to move it on as he is shifting at some stage.
dont really need it, but rather wreck it than have it crushed!

I think its too good to wreck, looks so not rusty. If nobody over there really wants it, I'm amazed. Grab it for me and I'll pick it up next time I'm over there! I cant stand the thought of it wasted. Cheers, Matt.

It all comes down to the body work thats been done, and how good it is. sometime better to have left the rust than have to re-do bad bodywork repairs. It all comes down to space, I would say plenty would buy it But dont have the space.

it all comes down to her indoors and how many cars she is prepared to have on the current property.
and it all comes down to how many cars will fit on the new house block too...
i need a country block about 50km out of adelaide with room for a pony

Judging by the over spray on the A pillar near the screen and the masking up of lights etc which should have been removed, I would say it's a bit of a quicky 'restoration'. That possibly ok if the basics were good to start with but ...........

If it is a genuine 66.5 model it should have 3 main bearing motor (revved really well or mine did) and all sycro box. My first Bellett was a 66.5, (photos on here somewhere) not many were sold I believe, before the 67 model was introduced with the 5 main bearing motor, it has the correct tail lights and parkers, engine bay except radiator looks OK from the photo's?? Go get it boys, I am in the Gulf of Carpentaria at the moment!! Dave.

it looks like Snow White has finally found a place to rest. she is being adopted into the family of Grey Mary and may even become the main project and not the parts car.
good luck with it, guys.
glad it found a home and some love to boot !
