Ready to go in. Piazza shift extension.
I shifted the handbrake rearwards and manufactured a false tunnel similar to the wasp.

Dave.

Cheers for the photos. Pretty much what I had planned to do. I have an engineer - but not the expense of one. He is more of a volunteer engineer that has taken an interest in the design of the old Wasp. He has picked up on much of the dodgy 'repairs' that have been made on this ute and fortunately fixed them while we had the cab/tub/etc off the chassis. Thanks for all the input from those in the know. Looking forward to rolling this one out on the road. The 15" rims - guessing from 70s model Isuzu ie - possibly Luv or early Rodeo - were picked up today and new tyres ordered - not many tyre sizes to choose from for 15" rims these days - and no 'truck' tyres that will fit under so looks like it will be road tyres. Decided to keep the rims 'Isuzu' instead of an after market rim. I found some later model wheel caps that suit - steal at $5.00 and they are unused. Pics to follow.

Looking good Clyde, I'm keen to see it on the road too. It's going to be nice!
Cheers, Matt.

Just got wheels reconditioned and added new tyres. These are original Isuzu rims - not sure what they originally came on - maybe Chevy Luv. Anyone know the origin of these mags?
