P01 '0411 12200411 v6 support
Hi guys,
I am looking for anyone who may have or knows someone who has done a disassembly and commented it out a LS1 bin.
I am looking for a software switch not listed in any of the current tuning packages.
It is related to number of cylinder used.

Try changing 0x8027 from 8 to #cyl and update checksum.... Let us know if that works.

Re: 12200411 tune Disassembly (12225074)
ok started looking at HP Tunners found cylinder select option and firing order change and injector order change.
was able to do changes now to make engine work with PCM.
I have to try and make a 24x crank wheel to fit a V6 balancer and try and work out a cam 1x wheel.
also looking at making a 7x wheel for old style DFI module for low res mode.
now I know what I will be doing in my work Christmas shut down.

VR V6 had a cam signal in the timing cover, just use that ?
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

They all had the boss in the casting just only machined on VR models with auto. All USA v6 had cam sensor. They had MAF and sequential injection from the 80s
I'm the director of VSH (Vlad's Spec Holden), because HSV were doing it ass about.
Re: 12200411 tune Disassembly (12225074)
I haven't got a pic on my phone but in the Holden workshop manual is a picture of the trace from the stock V8 trigger wheels. From memory it's 720 degree crank rotation and the cam signal is on for 360 then off for 360 and so on.
There is some American bin's from factory V6's and V8's set for low res mode and different trigger set up's running the 0411 PCM.

yer got a few of the low res tune files.
The cam sensor in the v6 engine may work but when you look at all the info on the net for the 4.3 V6 or the LS1 it shows a long duration sensor pulse compared to the v6 blip pulse.
so was going to try to duplicate the factory signal pulses.
The engine I was going ti test it on was a VS v6. with cam sensor.

Thats the pic I was thinking of. Have you found a trace like that of the signal from the low res factory vehicles? I think the V8 models still ran a crank trigger but at 4 pulses. Was the V6 3 crank pulses? Both are 1 cam pulse still the V8 got that from the dissy.

Re: 12200411 tune Disassembly (12225074)
that's strange, unless the passing of the sensor by the magnet in the cam just makes it change from low to high for the next revolution ?
