Re: Real Time Modded Factory Bins
Updated the first post, has been tested and is working fine.
Re: Real Time Modded Factory Bins
I have a VT V6 Ecotec series I which uses the $A5C variant in the original factory memcal.
If I replace my memcal with an nvram loaded with the suggested bin ($A5G 3.8L Auto 16233396 ECU Series II Update, ends 04/2000) what will happen?
Will the car run? better? worse? will the other modules on the bus (BCM etc) recognise the upgraded PCM?
thanks
Tom

Re: Real Time Modded Factory Bins
It should run pretty much the same (I dont think there were changes in the VT that meant an early release had to be used) and all other devices will still work fine (they wont know any different).
If it does require A5C then I will mod one of them and you can test it

Re: Real Time Modded Factory Bins
The NVRAM is available now but the USB comms have a short wait - I would expect them to be ready by the end of next week.

Re: Real Time Modded Factory Bins
It does with a modified bin, have added it to the first post of this thread. Pin D7 is the feedback line.
