Looks great, especially in the case all set up! Just wondering if there is a specific reason why you've used the DB9 connector? Perhaps something smaller like RJ45 would be nice, then you could mount it on the windscreen or dash or wherever

Only so it uses standard cables on a single connector - for the 808 you just use your normal RS232 cable and for VR and later I can get cables pre-made with OBD and DB9.

The second DB9 is for the analog inputs, that could be any connector really.

looks sweet as in that video, though some things you would like to have all on the screen at once, can you change that easily?

at the moment, you go through the adx and assign numbers 1-12 in the description on the items you want to show. those 12 items are shows as 2 groups of 6 for the 2 screens, then the big digits screen just scrolls one item at a time. so yes, you can change what you see on each dash. theres nothing stopping you from defining, say RPM twice and having it one assigned 1 and the other assigned 7, so you can have rpm on both dashes.

dont be afraid to post your mind guys, VL400 will never know what people want if they dont tell us :) best to get your word in now while the firmware is still under development.

In fact I encourage you to! Best way to get new ideas for features, Jayme has suggested lots of things already and has improved it heaps.
